We have a major Snickers lover in out household, so I decided to make a special snickers dessert for our 8th wedding anniversary. This Snickers Pie is creamy, rich and so decadent! Small slices are enough to satisfy your craving, which leaves plenty for later.. midnight snacks, dessert another day, breakfast….

2 packets Oreo’s
80g melted butter
250g cream cheese
1 tin caramel condensed milk
3/4 cup icing sugar
3 regular snickers bars (chopped)
3Tbsp peanut butter
Optional: chocolate sauce for drizzling
Crush Oreo’s then mix with melted butter. Press into the base and sides of a 20cm springform or pie pan, or a regular round pan lined with baking paper.
Spread approx 4 Tbsp of caramel condensed milk in a thin layer over the base. Chill.
Whip cream to soft peaks and set aside.
Beat cream cheese, icing sugar and remaining caramel condensed milk together until well combined. Scrape down the bowl a couple of times as between mixing to ensure there’s no cream cheese stuck to the bottom!
Once well combined, add whipped cream back in and beat all together with a whip attachment of available. The mixture will thicken and look more like thick whipped cream.
Fold in chopped snickers (reserve a small amount for the top if desired)
Spread half of your filling into your Oreo base. Spoon around peanut butter and swirl to spread out, then too up with remaining filling. Top with reserved chopped snickers if you kept some aside.
Chill for 2hrs.
Serve as is, or drizzle with chocolate sauce.
This can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days and can also be frozen (it’s yummy frozen too, tastes like ice cream!)
Another option: make individual snickers pies in cupcakes cases. Freeze in the cases and remove from the freezer whenever you need a sweet treat.
